Alan Cathcart has been working in the public utilities arena since 1985, and is currently serving as the Director of Public Works for the Town of Concord. Mr. Cathcart holds a master’s degree in geology from Boston University with a focus in hydrogeology. In addition to being a founding member of the board of directors for the Massachusetts Coalition for Water Resources Stewardship, he is also an active member of New England Water Works Association, Massachusetts Water Works Association (co-chair of the Legislative Committee), and Massachusetts Municipal Association (Transportation and Public Works Committee).
